This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for childcare management software, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

The District is looking to the marketplace for a Childcare Management Software Program that will provide the desired abilities identified below, while operating within the OCDSB’s Technical Environment.  The District currently provides before and after school care in 65 locations serving approximately 5500 students, in addition the District also operates 2 licensed infant, toddler and preschool programs with 100 children enrolled. It is the District's desire to have the system operational for January 1, 2020 and align with kindergarten registration for September 2020.

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. We are the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. Our students are based out of 143 schools - 113 elementary including two special education sites, 25 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate sites.

All Proponents shall have a Bidding System Vendor account and be registered as a Plan Taker for this opportunity, which will enable the Proponent to download the documents, to receive Addenda email notifications and download all documents without the watermark “PREVIEW” on them.
